Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots espresso

  • 1-2 tsp brown sugar

  • Splash of maple syrup

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

  • Milk of choice

Directions:

  1. Combine the warm espresso with brown sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir until dissolved.

  2. In a shaker or jar with a lid, add ice and espresso mixture, cover, and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until frothy (I fill my 16oz Stanley to the brim with ice).

  3. Pour the shaken espresso (and ice) into a glass.

  4. Top with your desired milk. Enjoy!

✨ Note: I get asked all the time what I use to make my daily espresso—my Breville Espresso Machine is hands down the best kitchen investment I’ve ever made and my most-used item.
