Chocolate Fig Bites

Ingredients:

  • Fresh figs, sliced in half

  • Chocolate, melted with a small spoonful of coconut oil

  • Crushed pistachios

  • Coarse sea salt

Directions:

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper.

  2. Dip or spoon chocolate over each fig half.

  3. Sprinkle with crushed pistachios and a pinch of coarse sea salt.

  4. Let set at room temperature or place in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.

Notes: These are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge or freezer for a quick sweet bite. My favorite chocolate is Hu’s dark chocolate chips. There are so many other topping options you could swap for: chopped almonds, crushed hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, toasted coconut flakes, etc.
