15 Minute Asian Chicken Bowls
Ingredients:
Cooked rice
Cooked chicken, I usually use rotisserie chicken for convenience
Cucumber, chopped
Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce, tamari or soy sauce
Garnish: green onion, cilantro, sesame seeds
Optional: hard boiled egg, sliced
Directions:
Add warm rice, chicken, and cucumber, to a bowl (and hard boiled egg if using).
Drizzle with Bachan’s, tamari or soy sauce to taste.
Add chili crisp depending on how much heat you like.
Finish with garnishes and enjoy!
Notes: This is one of my favorite 15 minute lunches because there’s really no measuring required. Just build your bowl based on what you have and how hungry you are.
Rotisserie chicken makes it especially quick, but any leftover cooked chicken works. You can also swap the rice for cauliflower rice or another grain you have on hand.
If using tamari or soy sauce instead of Bachan’s, start with a small amount and add more as needed since they’re saltier and less sweet. Add a drizzle of honey if needed.
